Concentrating on upgrading its clutch and gear-changing technology, Triumph continued to improve its motorcycles between 1910 and 1915. A variable pulley belt drive, which offered a selection of gear ratios, was introduced in 1908. In 1911, a simple rear hub clutch was introduced and, in 1913, Triumph offered a three-speed rear hub. Restored by Phil Aubert Bedard this exquisite example was awarded 2nd place by the New Zealand Vintage Club in the highly competitive class of' Most Creditable Restoration.
