A Fine and Large Japanese Meiji Period Shibayama Vase
The gold fundame lacquer body with four inset panels of exotic birds in coral, pearl and Awabi shell. Silver trumpet shaped neck and shaped base profusely decorated with shippo enamels. Four relief silver dragons guard the shoulders. Signed on a silver tablet. Minor losses.
