An Old Wood Carved Cigar Store Indian Maiden Figure
the full figure typically carved in a stance gazing forward, clutching tobacco leaves in her right hand and the left supporting a plain box, her head dressed in carved feathers ( the head dress with some old loss), the figure polychrome handpainted overall with decorative floral motifs to the dress, the paintwork appears to be original. Standing on a square wood low plinth. Note; some age related old splits. H.1220mm.
