Collection of three hundred and fifty-one postcards relating to Australia.
Housed in contemporary postcard album. Most cards early 20th century. Most unused. Collection features numerous real photograph cards, including one by R Vere Scott depicting a group of aboriginal Australians. Publishers include Valentine Publishing Co, Rose Stereograph Co, A E S and Co, S J Cathie, A C Parrott, L J Wilson etc. Subjects include streets, buildings, fountains, railways, reservoirs, mines, gardens and parks, rivers, beaches, mountains, fauna etc. Many Victorian locations depicted including Melbourne, Warrnambool, Bendigo, Beaumaris, Eaglehawk, Kyabram, Mornington, Woodend, Ballarat, Mt Dandenong etc. Other locations include Sydney and Kalgoorlie.
