Adventure & Discovery

THU 9 DEC 2010 - 6:00PM

Webb's final auction for 2010 is truly for the intrepid at heart. It features the most important collection of fresh and salt water fishing materials ever to be offered in New Zealand, with more than 300 examples of pre-1940 vintage game-fishing gear, including fishing reels, rods and lures from the most historically important manufacturers in the field: Hardy Bros (UK), Ocean City (USA), Penn (USA), JR Ross & Co (NZ), Kilwell (NZ), and Everol (IT). With material dating back to the 1820s, and a number of pieces relating to Zane Grey, this sale offers a remarkable range of must-have adventurers' collectibles, and is the ideal opportunity to find something special for the person who thinks they have everything.

This collection has been graded as per the following:
E = excellent, G = good, F = fair, P = poor
