C L Thomas Collection

WED 21 MAR 2012 - 12:00PM

Bethunes at Webb's is proud to offer the C L Thomas Collection of rare books and related materials. The Collection was begun by Thomas, a Napier pharmacist, at the beginning of the twentieth century and was subsequently extended by his son and daughter-in-law.

In addition to a profusion of New Zealand classics, the C L Thomas Collection features an important group of items relating to notable pioneer William Colenso, including books and pamphlets, manuscript diaries and papers, a collecting tin and a handsome dissecting microscope.
