Kozyndan is a Los Angeles-based duo known for their digitally painted pencil drawings of contemporary urban cityscapes and surreal interior spaces. Comprised of husband and wife Dan and Kozue Kitchens, Kozyndan create work that oscillates between the fine art and commercial realms. Their projects have been showcased internationally to much critical acclaim having appeared alongside the likes of Takashi Murakami, Chicagoan Dzine, McGee (aka Twist), Shepard Fairey, Invader and Banksy.
Taking audiences on a wide-eyed tour of strangeness, Kozndan's detailed drawings evoke elaborate panoramas where deep sea slugs inspire love in the streets of New York and combustion powered robots lumber through New Castle where school boy world leaders play war games - oblivious to drunken stag parties - and the Lost in Space cast inhabits what appears to be a mad weekend with Friends!
