Auckland-based artist Misery, renowned worldwide for her graffiti street art and fashion label once again takes you into the depths of her innocently twisted imagination at an exhibition at Webb's. Misery's show will feature in Webb's Main Gallery in conjunction with CURVY which will feature in Webb's Annex.
Misery has gone on to mainstream success, holding exhibitions around the world including in Berlin, Taiwan, Melbourne, Paris and Los Angeles. Poet and author, Tourettes, has worked alongside Misery, to create the fairy tale Holly Melancholy and the Night that Saved the Day especially for the exhibition.
Come along and walk through the garden of plush vampire flowers, encounter a depressed hero, an evil sun, an obnoxious alpaca and plenty more magical doe-eyed creatures but beware of the wall of severed heads…
