Photoforum Charity Auction a success

Webb’s were delighted to present the Photoforum Charity Auction on April 21^st.

A discerning crowd of supporters, collectors and artists spent the evening bidding on 130 lots of top quality modern works by Photoforum photographers and selected historical pieces.

 

Webb’s has a longstanding history of supporting Photoforum, with Peter Webb holding the first charity sale 30 years ago in 1978.

 

Works by the well known masters of New Zealand photography including Marti Friedlander, Ans Westra and Mark Adams were offered next to cutting edge pieces by Conor Clarke, Joyce Campbell, and Darren Glass.

 

Funds raised exceeded the Photoforum committees expectations with happy buyers and sellers all round.
