he stands on a rocky plinth with a dog at his feet. He is holding a lantern and is supporting a Buddha figure with lotus sceptre that has appeared in the smoke above him. Sumi stained inkwork patterns on his robe. Tokyo School. Signed on red lacquer tablet. H.400mm.
