Redfox was an art auction/silent auction organised by the friends of Claire McLintock and husband John Reynolds to raise funds for her treatment for advanced breast cancer.
Webb’s had the pleasure of supporting the event with Sophie Coupland conducting the live auction of artworks and luxury items which raised over $200K in funds toward the cause.
On Saturday 26 August 2017, The Redfox event brought Auckland’s art community together for the special evening. A crowd of hundreds from the art and medical communities packed into the Tuning Fork at Vector arena in support of the event. The evening was opened with a mihi by Jennifer Ward Lealand, MC’d by Jacinda Ardern, and featured performances by Neil Finn and Don McGlashan.
Some of New Zealand’s leading galleries and artists including Richard Killeen, Fiona Pardington, Karl Maughan, Peter Robinson, Judy Millar, Bill Hammond and Max Gimblett were among those who generously donated works.

Sophie Coupland says, “There was enormous generosity and good will in the room that night. It was a magical evening and we were delighted to have been a part of it.”
