Webb’s Motorcycles

By Collectors’ Cars, Motorcycles & Automobilia

Our Auctions

Webb’s has stood at the forefront of the market for all things classic motoring for decades, and has done so offering cars and motorcycles alike.

In the last three years alone we have sold 56 motorcycles for a total just under $1,000,000, and this was achieved thanks to an astounding sell-through rate of 88% – a truly first class mark.

Many of our longtime clients will be familiar with our classic, smaller and rectangular motorcycle catalogues from the turn of the 2010s, and while we’ve never lost our flair for the art, we know that these dedicated offerings have been missed not only by our clients but by the wider market as well.

In the spirit of New Zealand’s intense love affair with motorcycles and our own heritage of bringing first class auctions to enthusiasts, Webb’s Collectors’ Cars, Motorcycles & Automobilia is excited to announce an online auction taking place over two weeks in 2026. This auction will represent the premier auction house’s return to a purely two-wheeled offering for the first time in over a decade.

Webb’s is now accepting consignments of exceptional motorcycles for this exciting return to a dedicated auction, and we’re seeking standout examples with singular provenance. Mid to late-century British and Japanese models are especially desirable, alongside pre-war American classics that embody robust engineering and historical significance.

If you own a motorcycle with pedigree, now is the time to showcase it. Our team offers expert valuation, national exposure, and access to an exclusive and well-heeled base of passionate collectors. Submit your motorcycle today and let its legacy ride on.

Our Department

Since it was established in 2014, our Collectors' Cars, Motorcycles & Automobilia department has grown from strength to strength.

Our team has unparalleled industry knowledge, and just over a decade later we lead the market in selling cars by consignment, either via auction or private sale.

We are here to assist you through the auction process and welcome enquiries about your vehicle. The market for collector’s cars has undoubtedly been subject to broader market changes in recent years, however Webb’s has continued to achieve stellar results during this period.

Webb’s has been instrumental in the development of the New Zealand auction market for luxury collectible vehicles. The success of our auctions is evident in recent highlights, including a 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM AMG Cabriolet which realised a price of $535,000, a 1993 Porsche 964 3.6 Turbo achieving $462,000, and a 1957 Aston Martin DB2/4 MkII, which realised $418,000.

Our team of professionals are available for complimentary auction appraisals of classic, collectable, and vintage motors.
