Current Online Auction

Fine Wines & Whiskies Online
26 April – 1 May

Our Fine Wines & Whiskies Online Auction launches today and it showcases a stunning variety of wines and rarities. Among the highlights are the top-scoring wines from the Metro Magazine Top 50 Wine Awards, plus our first glimpse into the Cellar of Esteemed Broadcaster, John Hawkesby MNZM.

Head of Fine Wines & Whiskies, Marcus Atkinson, was honoured to have been a judge on the Metro Top 50 Wine Awards panel.  Metro Magazine kindly donated bottles of most of the top 50 as a way to fundraise for The Auckland City Mission.

John Hawkesby has been a familiar voice in broadcasting since 1972, latterly a wine writer and judge. His cellar is wonderful and varied, with many of the greatest wines in the world, mainly selected well before they were as prestigious as they are today, therefore they are very fairly priced. Watch this space as we reveal more gems mostly unearthed after John first encountered Coleraine in the mid-1980’s with Bordeaux blends his entry-point and Burgundy his true-passion.

For enthusiasts of Burgundy, we proudly present prestigious domaines including DRCMugneret, and de VogueChampagne offering also looks great, with selections highlighting Dom Perignon and Bollinger

If you're seeking guidance or recommendations, don't hesitate to reach out to us. And be sure to carve out some time to peruse our complete catalogue online, and submit your maximum auto-bids before the auction concludes from 8pm next Wednesday.
