We are now seeking consignments for our Important Jewels, Watches & Luxury Accessories premium online auction.
This auction is our top tier sales event, showcasing the most prestigious of adornments and accessories to the most discerning of connoisseurs and collectors.
In bags we particularly desire exclusive Hermès styles such as the Birkin, Kelly and Constance, as well as notable pieces from international maisons including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Gucci. This sale caters to serious fans and collectors and therefore we put emphasis on rarity, exceptional quality, provenance and documentation.
As always, we welcome fine jewellery in the form of larger diamond rings, diamond bracelets and earrings, as well as ornate coloured stone necklets and rings. Timepieces sought include Swiss watch brands such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, IWC, Omega, and Cartier, to name a few.

Whether through live or online auctions or private sales, Webb’s offers a unique and effective method of selling jewellery, watches and luxury accessories at a range of price points to suit the needs of every collector and enthusiast.
Webb’s is at the forefront of the auction market as demand for luxury items increases. Recently, we have seen many dazzling diamond and coloured stone pieces brought to auction and successfully achieve excellent prices. Fine jewellery is extremely coveted as in our most recent sale where a Platinum, handmade 3.03ct Solitaire Diamond Ring sold for $40,630 (excl GST).
Renowned jewels from international brands such as Cartier, Bvlgari and Tiffany & Co are always sought after.
Another exciting piece was a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Oysterflex in 18k yellow gold, which sold for $59,750 (excl GST).
Specific to the luxury accessories category, auction highlights include a Louis Vuitton, Courrier Lozine Monogram Personalised Trunk 110, which sold for $45,410 (excl GST) and a a number of Hermès bags such as Birkin—which consistently sell in the multiple thousands— and Kelly, like a Rose Tyrien Ostrich Kelly Sellier 25 with Twilly / Charm, which sold for nearly double its lowest estimate: $38,240 (excl GST).
We meticulously curate an exquisite collection of diamond rings and jewellery spanning a diverse price range from just $100, all the way through to $500,000—ensuring that there's a perfect piece for every individual.

Christine is our Head of Fine Jewels, Watches & Accessories. She has come to the team with over 26 years of experience in the jewellery industry, and a breadth of qualifications in Diamond Grader, and AJP GIA qualification. She also holds a Diploma in Fashion Design from Wellington Polytechnic.
These qualifications are paired with rich experience that spans the sector. Christine’s focus was centred around retail sales, bespoke jewellery and wholesale sales, sourcing products regionally and abroad for a New Zealand chain manufacturer, as well as a 4 year appointment at Lester Brand in sales and business development.
Prior to joining Webb’s, her most recent and longest tenure was as a Boutique manager for Partridge Jewellers in Newmarket, a position Christine held with distinction for sixteen years. In this role, Christine worked closely with international jewellery maison’s and Swiss watch brands, with a specialty in Rolex and Tudor.
Sam Shaw

We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Sam Shaw to the role of Manager, Fine Jewels, Watches, & Luxury Accessories.Sam brings to Webb's a high level of expertise in luxury goods, honed through 20 years in luxury retail, 14 of which was spent specialising in the sale of watches and jewellery. His background includes roles at prestigious United Kingdom retailers such as Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, London Knightsbridge Rolex boutique, Smythson of Bond street, and David M Robinson Jewellers, as well Partridge Jewellers here in New Zealand. Some of you may also recognise Sam from his previous role at Webb's—we are thrilled to have him back in the fold and he too is excited to return to the auction world:

Sam holds a Jewellery AJP diploma from the GIA, and his particular area of expertise is in watches and horology, specialising in both modern and vintage timepieces. He also has a keen interest in leather goods and writing instruments.
Marcela Jimenez Ramirez
Gemmologist & Specialist in Fine Jewels, AJP G.G (GIA)

Marcela has over 25 years’ experience in the Jewellery industry, starting her career in South America in the family gemstone wholesale business, which led her to train as a Graduate Gemmologist at GIA’s Santa Monica, California in 1995, to then manage her own Jewellery business, in the early 2000’s in Ft Lauderdale Florida for over five years, and a Gemmological laboratory in Colombia for a decade.
Years later she moved to Auckland New Zealand where she worked with recognized brands such as Rolex and following her passion for jewellery joined Webb’s in 2019 as the Fine Jewels & Watches Specialist, what she loves the most about this job is that there is always something new to learn, and the excitement of discovering the next treasure to auction.
