Entelechy means the realisation of potential. As the acorn becomes the oak, it is fulfilling its entelchy, its destiny. Of course, nourishing soil is required if the acorn is to thrive. This exhibition is a celebration and a sampler of established and senior women artists across a range of media, across Aotearoa. For decades, these women have been making art- with integrity, courage and in pursuit of the best they can do and be. They have succeeded.
