About the Exhibition

First held in 2004, the IHC Art Awards have grown into a major annual event, celebrating the talent and achievements of artists with an intellectual disability or intellectual disability and autism. Open to artists from all over New Zealand, the Awards provide a vital platform for these practitioners to showcase their creativity, gain recognition, have their voices heard, and sell their work.

This year’s Awards received a record-breaking 552 entries — all of which will be on display. Every dollar from artwork sales goes directly to the artists.

Whether you're a seasoned collector or simply curious, this exhibition is a unique opportunity to experience the imagination and individuality of this incredibly diverse, creative community; and to support the ongoing work of IHC in Aotearoa.

On View: 25.07.25—13.08.25
