Stilling Life: A contemplative exhibition that brings together works from contemporary artists. Webb’s exhibitions manager, Virginia Woods-Jack, says of her curation “I wanted to take a more expansive look at the genre of still life by juxtaposing traditional and current approaches. There is a palpable synergy and juxtaposition between the contemporary and present day approaches. I am interested in this genre as a mode of stilling time; a glorification of banality and the everyday, asking us to slow down and take time to discover that which the artist is drawing our attention to.”
